Rapino, the Maiella, and olive oil: a story of land and family.

The Cinosi Oil Mill was born where Abruzzo tradition meets a love for quality.

For over sixty years, Oleificio Cinosi has been producing top-quality Abruzzo extra virgin olive oil in the village of Rapino (CH), at the foot of the Maiella. A story of family, passion, and craftsmanship, where tradition meets innovation to bring an oil that smells of earth and authenticity to your table.

Among hills and olive groves, the Cinosi family has preserved the culture of fine olive oil for three generations. Each bottle captures the scent of the earth, the knowledge passed down through generations, and the dedication of those who live their passion every day.

A forward-looking tradition
in the heart of Abruzzo

The Cinosi Oil Mill was born from a love for the Abruzzo region and the desire to preserve ancient knowledge, passed down from generation to generation. Each bottle tells the story of the bond between man and the olive tree, between craftsmanship and modern technology.
Harvesting, cold pressing within 24 hours, and using native varieties such as Leccino, Gentile di Chieti, Cucco, and Olivastro: this is how a 100% Abruzzo extra virgin olive oil is created , with an authentic and harmonious flavor.

The faces of the Cinosi Oil Mill

Behind every drop of Cinosi oil is a family that for four generations has carried forward the same promise: to do things well, with passion and respect.

It all began with grandfather Alfonso, who in 1963 lit the flame of a simple yet tenacious dream. Today, his grandsons Antonello and Alfonso lead the oil mill with the same dedication, combining experience and innovation. A new generation is growing alongside them, bringing fresh ideas and a contemporary perspective, while never forgetting their roots. Together, they preserve a legacy built on hard work, trust, and love for the Abruzzo region.

I've lived in Florida for many years, and returning to Rapino was like reopening a treasure trove of memories. Discovering Oleificio Cinosi meant tasting an authentic and delicate oil: its flavor brought back memories of my childhood. An incredible discovery.

Sandy

The Cinosi family, "Number One." Antonello and Alfonso are fantastic, and their oil is amazing. We've been milling here for fifteen years. We're from London and we love Abruzzo, the Maiella, the food, and the sea.
